Job Summary:  Inside sales contributes to selling products and services to customers.  This position primarily focuses on commercial roofing and window sales.  Sales opportunities include walk-in customers, sourcing sales via email, and lead follow-up calls. Inside Sales will be responsible for developing new leads, communicating with customers, understanding their needs, and ensuring a smooth sales process.  This position will work directly with customers and make sure orders are retrieved from the warehouse in a timely manner for both walk-in customers as well as pre-orders and call ahead orders for pickup.  Our Inside Sales position qualifies for our Next Gen Program.  This program provides many opportunities for growth and career advancement.  Our current leadership is very involved in the program to help develop individuals for future leadership opportunities with Roofers Mart. Responsibilities:

• Communication with customers through promptly answering incoming calls and entering sales orders.
• Engage with existing and potential commercial clients to understand their needs
• Utilize your extensive knowledge of materials and solutions to provide expert recommendations
• Prepare accurate and competitive quotes based on client requirements and budget
• Promptly greet and assist all customers upon entry to the showroom.
• Following a product/supply checklist for customers’ job and up-selling additional products and supplies.
• Keeping up to date with new products, service information and updates.
• Creating and maintaining a database of current and potential customers.
• Staying updated on industry trends, product advancements, and competitor offerings.
• Coordinating and assisting with customer pick-ups with the warehouse.
• Following up on deliveries to ensure materials arrived on time with all items accounted for.
• Reordering products to keep the store and warehouse shelves stocked.
• Closing sales and achieving sales targets.
• Collaborate closely with managers and outside sales to support their efforts with technical expertise
• Assist managers with any receiving or purchasing responsibilities assigned.
• Responsible for the overall appearance and cleanliness of showroom, counter area, and restrooms.
• Maintain adequate and up to date literature, samples, displays, and showroom merchandise.
• Nurture long-term relationships with clients, addressing any concerns and ensuring their satisfaction.
• Assist operations mangers with beginning/end of day procedures as assigned.
• Cross training responsibilities as assigned to back up co-workers.

Requirements:

• Proven track record of success in inside sales within the industry
• In-depth understanding of various commercial roofing systems, materials and applications
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Strong ability to interpret client needs and provide tailored solutions.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask
• Ability to use software programs such as DMSI, Excel, Word, Outlook, and other sales tools, etc.
• Ability to analyze and problem solve.
• High School or equivalent; bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in inside sales within the industry
• Familiarity with construction and architectural drawings is advantageous
• Technical certifications in roofing products/system is a bonus
• Exceptional customer service, strong listening, and sales skills.
• Team player and positive attitude towards customers and co-workers.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and pass an E-Verify check.

CDL Trainee safely and efficiently delivers roofing materials from the warehouse to customer job sites. Delivers material according to customer specifications with the help of rooftop delivery equipment.  All job sites are local and scheduled between Monday & Friday.  Looking for hardworking, safe, and customer-focused material handlers who are interested in growing with our Company.  Free, on the job, CDL Training is provided for those interested in obtaining a Commercial Driver’s License Benefits Include:

 Responsibilities:

• Deliver roofing materials to customer locations and through route specifications.
• Follow designated routes and time schedules.
• Load, unload, and prepare the delivery vehicles.
• Work with co-workers to stage the material on roof at destinations.
• Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner and drive sales through relationship building with customers while on job sites.
• Complete required delivery logs and reports.
• Follow DOT regulations and safety standards.
• Ensure order accuracy on every load by checking delivery ticket.
• Assist CDL driver with load securement.
• Always adhere to traffic safety regulations, and report unsafe vehicle or road conditions to supervisors.
• Adhere to all safety policies, including wearing all required personal protective equipment.

Requirements:

• Must be able to repeatedly lift 75+ lbs.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Ability to stand, bend, twist and climb ladders throughout shift.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Good driving record with no legal or safety incidents on record.
• High School or equivalent preferred.
• Must always maintain a professional appearance.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
• Must arrive at assigned start time daily.

The CDL Driver safely and efficiently delivers roofing materials from the warehouse to customer job sites.  Delivers material according to customer specifications with the help of rooftop delivery equipment.  All job sites are local and scheduled between Monday & Friday.  Looking for hardworking, safe, and customer-focused drivers who are interested in growing with our Company.  Free, on the job, CDL Training is provided for those interested in advancement.  This position does not require over the road travel.  Benefits Include:

 Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the safe operation of all Roofers Mart fleet equipment.
• Complete a thorough load check on your truck prior to leaving the branch, ensuring all delivery materials are firmly secured and all aspects of your truck are in compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
• Responsible for following all DOT regulations.
• Conduct a safe work zone at each job site.
• Work in cooperation with our customers to determine proper placement of the delivery at the job site.
• Take pictures of all deliveries at jobsites and upload to sales order via DMSI.
• Completion of all required paperwork and filing logs in a precise and timely manner.
• Inform management of any maintenance or safety concerns as it pertains to Roofers Mart fleet equipment.
• Responsible for selecting the most time effective route to the job sites using GPS.
• Always adhere to traffic safety regulations, and report unsafe vehicle or road conditions to supervisors.
• Responsible for limiting or eliminating damages to job sites caused by delivery errors.
• Drive sales through relationship building with customers while on job sites.
• Additional responsibilities include warehouse work, loading and unloading materials on or off trucks as assigned.
• Adhere to all safety policies, including wearing all required personal protective equipment.
• Picking up returns and correctly reporting quantities, color, style, etc., as required for proper customer credit.
• Responsible for locating a drop point on job-sites in which the materials are safe and will not be damaged by exposure to weather or elements.

 Requirements

• Valid CDL – Class A or B.
• Ability to lift 75+ lbs.
• Commercial driving experience and knowledge of DOT & OSHA safety regulations.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Good driving record with no legal or safety incidents on record.
• Pre-employment drug screens and random drug screens are required.
• Maintain a professional appearance and attitude on all jobsites.
• Must arrive to work at assigned start time.
• Team player and positive attitude toward customers and co-workers.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and pass an E-Verify check.
