About

Our Service Commitment is Part of Our History

In 1983, Roofers Mart of Missouri was formed and opened its doors with four employees at its first location in Rockhill, Missouri. Over the next 16 years, the company built a service commitment centered around what our customers were looking for. As a result, our reputation grew among contractors and other businesses in the industry.

In 1999, Bill Vierling and Mark Postawko had a new vision of growing the company from a four-person operation and bringing it into the 21st century. They bought out investors and eventually relocated to a larger location in Shrewsbury.

In 2009, Roofers Mart expanded beyond the roofing business to offer a full line of exterior products. With the purchase of four former Aluma-Kraft locations, Roofers Mart now provides contractors with siding, windows, and doors in addition to its full menu of roofing services. This acquisition has given the company the opportunity to better serve its customers’ needs and position itself as a complete supplier for professional contractors.

Today, Roofers Mart of Missouri’s main office is still headquartered in Shrewsbury and has grown to eight locations throughout the region, including four in Missouri (St. Louis/Shrewsbury [headquarters], Barnhart, Cape Girardeau, Kansas City), three in Illinois (Caseyville, Marion, Springfield) and one in Kentucky (Paducah). The company currently employs more than 100 people across all its locations.

A Team with Experience and Expertise

Part of honoring our service commitment is making sure that the Roofers Mart team has the experience and expertise to offer the best advice to our clients. As you depend upon us to get you the best supplies and materials, we want you to rely on us for the best advice.

Many of our key employees have worked in the roofing and housing trade industries and bring a contractor’s perspective to Roofers Mart's day-to-day operations.

Also, we know the importance of getting to know our clients and building long-lasting relationships. That’s why we don’t have automated phone systems. Furthermore, we work hard to get your supplies to you quickly so you can keep your crews working.

Robust Warehouse Inventory

Another aspect of our service commitment means that we have the supplies that you want when you need them. By keeping a robust inventory, we protect our customers from seasonal factory shipping delays, and allow them to start and finish their work on schedule.

Our warehouse in St. Louis measures 130,000 sq. ft. and its size allows us to a great depth of merchandise. Our material is stored inside, under our roof, so you will always receive your order in factory condition.

Our branches in Paducah, Barnhart, Cape Girardeau, Marion, Caseyville, Springfield, and Kansas City let us serve our customers in the same manner. In fact, our Cape Girardeau location offers a 65,000 sq. ft. warehouse and is a distribution hub for our Southern markets.
