The humidity hit hard, but the nail guns hit harder! Roofers Mart spent three days in Dallas to take in the sights, sounds and products of the 2023 International Roofing Expo. The annual event attracted massive crowds and nearly 600 exhibitors, each offering a variety of products, services and – of course – swag.

Karnak 19 Ultra Demonstration
We caught up with the king of Karnak, Mr. John McDermott, to get the scoop on 19 Ultra. The flashing cement is scientifically compounded with a selection of rubber-reinforced asphalt, mineral fibers and refined solvents to provide maximum protection and excellent performance over wide ranges of temperature and weather conditions. You can't talk about 19 Ultra without mentioning Karna-Flex! This elastomeric, thermoplastic-rubber sealant is easy to apply and adheres to wet or dry surfaces. It is formulated for use on built-up asphalt roofs, modified bitumen membranes and properly prepared metal, concrete, EPDM, TPO, and most PVC membrane as well as spray polyurethane foam and plywood roof substrates.
