Job Summary:  The Territory Manager drives sales in an assigned territory using strong relationship building skills, customer service, sales plan execution and effective management skills.  Responsible for designing strategies aimed at growing regional revenue by satisfying customer needs.  This position requires strong customer account management, along with some travel.  Ability to manage territory performance, make adjustments as necessary to hit targets, maintain excellent customer service, and product support.  This individual will develop ongoing, profitable relationships with customers and continually maintain a professional image of the company.  Strategic thinking, planning, integrity, passion, people management and in person presentational skills are essential for this position.   Responsibilities:
  • Establish and maintain relationships with new and existing customers through email, video/telephone calls, in person meetings, and industry events. Ensure all reasonable customer requests and needs are met in a timely manner.
  • Maintain excellent product knowledge through continued training and education on changes and innovations in the industry.
  • Follow up on deliveries to ensure customer satisfaction with product quality, and delivery process.
  • Communicate with inside staff on customer needs.
  • Nurture long-term relationships with clients, addressing any concerns and ensuring their satisfaction.
  • Emphasize product features and benefits, quote prices, discuss credit terms, and prepare order forms and/or reports.
  • Actively manage call schedule to adequately cover assigned territory in a time-efficient manner.
  • Use marketing data using applicable sales management software tools to maximize sales efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Work with the Branch Manager to set regional sales targets and devise a plan to ensure goals are met.
  • Participate in sales budget preparation by setting targets for current and new business.
  • Review financial information to determine opportunities to improve margins and develop pricing plan.
  • Understand competitive market pricing in region and document on a regular basis.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive pricing strategy and structure for region.
  • Perform analysis of price lists for each customer group when requested.
  • Assess market competition to identify new product opportunities and enhance product portfolio.
  • Maintain a high standard of professional knowledge, ethics and practices when dealing with customers, suppliers, co-workers, and other key stakeholders of the company.
  • Create and maintain a database of current and potential customers.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, product advancements, and competitor offerings.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2 years’ sales experience required. Proven track record of success in sales within the industry a plus.
  • In-depth understanding of various commercial roofing systems, materials, and applications
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong ability to interpret client needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask
  • Ability to use software programs such as DMSI, Excel, Word, Outlook, and other sales tools, etc.
  • Ability to analyze and problem solve.
  • Ability to attend and conduct presentations.
  • Degree preferably in marketing, business, or related field.
  • Exceptional customer service, strong listening, and sales skills.
  • Team player and positive attitude towards customers and co-workers.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and pass an E-Verify check.

 Responsibilities:
  • Deliver roofing materials to customer locations and through route specifications.
  • Follow designated routes and time schedules.
  • Load, unload, and prepare the delivery vehicles.
  • Work with co-workers to stage the material on roof at destinations.
  • Interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner and drive sales through relationship building with customers while on job sites.
  • Complete required delivery logs and reports.
  • Follow DOT regulations and safety standards.
  • Ensure order accuracy on every load by checking delivery ticket.
  • Assist CDL driver with load securement.
  • Always adhere to traffic safety regulations, and report unsafe vehicle or road conditions to supervisors.
  • Adhere to all safety policies, including wearing all required personal protective equipment.
Requirements:
  • Must be able to repeatedly lift 75+ lbs.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
  • Ability to stand, bend, twist and climb ladders throughout shift.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Good driving record with no legal or safety incidents on record.
  • High School or equivalent preferred.
  • Must always maintain a professional appearance.
  • Must have reliable transportation to and from work.

 Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for the safe operation of all Roofers Mart fleet equipment.
  • Complete a thorough load check on your truck prior to leaving the branch, ensuring all delivery materials are firmly secured and all aspects of your truck are in compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Responsible for following all DOT regulations.
  • Conduct a safe work zone at each job site.
  • Work in cooperation with our customers to determine proper placement of the delivery at the job site.
  • Take pictures of all deliveries at jobsites and upload to sales order via DMSI.
  • Completion of all required paperwork and filing logs in a precise and timely manner.
  • Inform management of any maintenance or safety concerns as it pertains to Roofers Mart fleet equipment.
  • Responsible for selecting the most time effective route to the job sites using GPS.
  • Always adhere to traffic safety regulations, and report unsafe vehicle or road conditions to supervisors.
  • Responsible for limiting or eliminating damages to job sites caused by delivery errors.
  • Drive sales through relationship building with customers while on job sites.
  • Additional responsibilities include warehouse work, loading and unloading materials on or off trucks as assigned.
  • Adhere to all safety policies, including wearing all required personal protective equipment.
  • Picking up returns and correctly reporting quantities, color, style, etc., as required for proper customer credit.
  • Responsible for locating a drop point on job-sites in which the materials are safe and will not be damaged by exposure to weather or elements.
 Requirements
  • Valid CDL – Class A or B.
  • Ability to lift 75+ lbs.
  • Commercial driving experience and knowledge of DOT & OSHA safety regulations.
  • Forklift experience preferred.
  • Good driving record with no legal or safety incidents on record.
  • Pre-employment drug screens and random drug screens are required.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and attitude on all jobsites.
  • Must arrive to work at assigned start time.
  • Team player and positive attitude toward customers and co-workers.
